Screen dims after long on time screen use

Lately I've noticed that if I'm watching Netflix or playing a game for a while, my screen dims down and won't go back to normal. It'll go from my normal 80% to like 50% with the toggle at the same spot (80%). Only way I can get it to normal is to restart my phone.

Is this an common issue and any fix besides restarting my phone.

Try turning off Auto-brightness. General > accessibility > display accommodations
