Image Gallery Effect

Hi,

When switching between pics in my image gallery I notice my images are animated for a fraction of a second. What is that effect called?

P.s I'm not referring to the live effect.

He’s referring to that small video clip that appears when browsing through photos in the Photos app. That’s actually a little Live photos part, which appears for a fraction of a second when just switching to the photo. Try it!

Guess they must be thinking that only the 3D Touching part is called Live. They did say that their images are animated for a fraction of a second, which is what Live is.
