Phone randomly turned off

I got an iPhone 6s Plus about 3 weeks ago and today it randomly turned off. I left it on the table and when I walked back 5 minutes later it was off. I pushed the power button and it wouldn't turn back on. I pushed the home and power button at the same time and again it wouldn't turn on. I kept trying this and right as I was about to head out the door to the Apple Store, it turned back on. Any ideas what's going on? Should I go to apple?

If it happens again I would bring it to apple. Keep an eye on it.

No. Glitches happen. If it keeps happening, follow the advice above.

You can always plug it in to iTunes and do an OS repair. See if it continues to happen after that.

I would just keep an eye out for any other issues for now. If it does it again, try and make a mental note what you were doing prior to the issue and how you had been using it and what the battery was like then take it to the Apple Store and see what they have to say.
