Any recommendations on fitting a jack tip through an Otterbox Defender that holds an iPhone 6?

The Otterbox Defender that is on my iPhone 6 is too thick and I can't plug in an auxiliary cord jack all the way into the phone's port through the case. Any suggestions are welcome!

You might need a different aux cord, is the one you're trying to use built into whatever you want to use it with? Some have smaller plugs than others.
