How can I get my Facebook alert sounds working on my iPhone 6?

My facebook alert sounds do not work on my iPhone 6

I am unable to get any sounds to work that I set on my Iphone 6 for Facebook. Texts and calls work including Gmail. But Facebook alert sounds do not work

Go to settings and see if any of your notifications changed. If not then do a hard reset of your device

Another option is maybe delete the Facebook app and reinstall it... let us know if you get it working

I think the only sound you can change is the Facebook Post sound and it is located in Settings > Sounds - under Sounds and Vibration Patterns. You might have to reinstall it like bones467 says.

You must also set sounds in the Facebook Settings.
Go to Settings > mobile

Set sounds

This is in addition to setting sounds in the phone's Settings > Notifications > Facebook
