I have had my iPhone 6 64 for 1 week tomorrow. Very happy with the phone. Had ipone 5 before. I cannot search my text messages on iphone6? I type in the search area, select search nothing happens! Any one have this issue?
    Thanks!

I was having the exact same issue on my iPhone 5s after upgrading to iOS 8. I recommend switching the language on the phone and then switching it back. While this seems extreme, it worked and now I can search my messages again. I suspect this has something to do with a database cache that is forced to reset in the language switch, but whatever it is it worked for me. Best of luck!

If that doesn't work try restore on your phone but that should work

Try going into Spotlight settings and in Spotlight settings checking and rechecking the option to search Messages.

Have iphone 6 too. But on search text, only read one after one. Or if you remember the date, you can find it easily. And some program tools also can help search text messages on iphone.
