Orange Mobile 5s problems in Toronto

hello all, i really hope someone is able to help me here\
I have an iphone5s that im told is from orange mobile uk.\
The only problem now is that i am in toronto canada and unable to use the phone.
I dont even know the previous owner....neither do i have an orange mobile sim card...
What can i do to unlock/use the iphone now?:concern:

How did you obtain this phone since you don't know the previous owner?

i purchased it through a website called kijiji. its ebay for canadians only where you buy and sell in person.

If the iPhone is a GSM model, it *may* be possible to simply insert a local carrier's SIM card in it, but you may or may not be able to take full advantage of the device. Of course, I'm guessing. You can also try any carriers that are a subsidiary of Orange Mobile in your area. Other than that, you will have to contact Orange mobile, explain your situation and ask them to unlock it for your OR take a chance at the numerous unlocking sites found all over the web., and no, I do not have any recommendations in that regard.
