Changing the size of date/time on lockscreen

I just updated my iPhone5 to ios 9.3, and now the date/time on the lockscreen is huge. How can I make it smaller so it doesn't cover 1/3 of my screen? I could change it when I had his 6. I've tried everything I could think of.

Check if the font is bold in the accessibility settings and of the display is set to standard view.

Can you help me navigate through that Please? I'm kind of behind on the updated technology in ios9.3 on my iPhone 5. I just installed that update. Thank you.

Settings > General > Accessibility, and make sure the toggle next to Bold Text is off.
