How can I get my iPhone 5 screen working?

iphone 5 screen not working

The home button on my iphone 5 fell out. I ordered a new one, and replaced it with no problems. Re-assembled the phone, and now the screen won't respond. I've checked and re-checked all connections several times. The computer will read the phone when I plug it in, and it vibrates if I move the mute button.
