touch screen issue come with backup??

anyone have any experience like this?

My 4 was backed up to itunes. when i got the 5c i did a restore from itunes and seem to e experiencing the same touch screen issue i was having with the 4 which is that the right of the screen 'misses' lots of letters .. particularly the m and i ... driving me crazy .... thiking about resetting the entire thing and reinstalling apps to see what will happen ...

Won't hurt to try a restore of the iOS and set up as new...
