How do I stop annoying feature?

When the last song on any playlist on my iPhone 5 finishes, the phone automatically starts playing the first song on the alphabetically first song. How do I stop this?

There is a repeat function. Try turning it off?

Should have said "alphabetically first album. Every time any playlist ends, "Incident at Neshabur" (which is on a totally different playlist) plays (it's the first song on the alphabetically first album - Abraxas - on my iPhone). My "repeat" function is always turned off.

This does not happen here. When playlist ends, playback STOPS. Unless I have Repeat turned on, in which case the same playlist starts over.

If nothing is queued up at all, when my car starts to play from my iPhone via Bluetooth streaming, it randomizes my All Songs list. How are you listening/playing? Plug-in headphones, BT headphones, BT streaming, USB to a car?

I know that it happens when I play thru USB to car stereo. I also use plug-in headphones - can't say for sure that it happens then.
