30 pin adapter included or not?

I just preordered my iphone 5 and was offered the option to buy an additional 30 pin adapter, saying that there is one included with the iphone. However the ' whats in the box ' link doesn't even mention it. So is it included or not?

Wow, I just noticed it says order an additional adaptor, as if its already included. When I ordered mine, it just asked to add it and I did for $30. Either way it goes I can use both.

Kev, now correct me if Im wrong but I think it has something to do with you being in the UK.
I believe I read something somewhere that said iPhones across the water would come with that adapter

...If I find the article I'll post it

No $29.99 adaptor for free...lol. I'm pretty accepting of the pricing Apple charges for stuff, but their accessories in this fashion (the same went for the USB cord and the headset) are ridiculous.

Its been confirmed, from multiple sources, that all iPhone 5 pre-orders will in fact include the 30 pin adapter...

I think you only get it if you ordered through apple though

Hardly a confirmation. It's s poorly worded order form, that's all. The what's in the box would include the adapter if it was included.

If any of them COME with the adaptor, ALL of them will come with the adaptor. They're not going to pick and choose some boxes to put it in and not others.

When I ordered my phone, I ordered two adapters, I never received the option. I just wanted to be sure I got the adapters before they had inventory issues.
