Try turning airplane mode on for 20 seconds then off again. Doing so always helped clear any siri related issues that I was having on my 4S.

Okay I feel like an idiot I push the button to make Siri talk and then I hit the volume button all the way up and a started working I didn't know that it was a separate volume for Siri so thank you very much for your help

I think something happened to Siri (kidnapping?!): on my last trip home tonight, the interface changed to a blue screen-saver-type thing with "Voice COmmand" at the top of the screen. She sounded the same, but was more efficient!

Was there a stealth update or something?!

EDIT: Oops! I guess I turned it off somehow--looks like it can do some things without sending stuff to Apple? Sure seemed more efficient, but I suppose that's because it wasn't connecting externally. Anyway, nevermind. As you were...

its not a separate volume for siri its a separate volume for media any time your in a media situation you can lower the volume of just the media
