help.....how to close keyboard in text...

If I am replying to a text message and then decide not to send it I cannot find how to close the keyboard so that the text string shows on the whole screen. Other apps have a "done" button or "cancel"...but not in text. If I go out of the message and back in it still have the keyboard on the screen. Not a big deal but an annoying one.....anybody?

You have to go back to the list of people and then reopen the convo with the person you want.

^^^ Yup...simply go out of the text and go back into it...

You can also hit edit on the top right

thanks! Yes, going out and back in does it, but you have to clear all the text if you had written any, otherwise the keyboard stays open.

If you hit edit to delete a message the keyboard comes back up when you are done.
