iPhone Help with Activation

I have an Iphone 3GS with firmware 3.1.3 And a 5.12.01 baseband, It is not

activated yet. Its still stuck on the emergency call screen and i do not have a

Sim Card to activate it yet. Is there a way to hacktivate this iphone? Is there a

way to jailbreak it? And finally is there a way to restore it because when i try

to restore it i get error 3143 so should i update it to firmware 4.0?

Are you trying to use the phone on a network other tha AT&T?

This has been covered in great detail. I myself have never jailbroke nor unlocked any of my iPhones but have seenmany threads on this subject here.

I did search apparently theres no tool out that can hacktivate the iphone 3gs on 3.1.3 for windows.
Yea i want to use it with Tmobile, but when i got the iphone i didnt get the activation sim, so im stuck on the emergency call screen.
