Weird email problem

I just began having a big and weird problem with my SBC Global/Yahoo email account on my iPhone 4. Any time I get an email and open it, if I close the program/switch to another, the email is gone. GONE!

I've looked at all other folders on the phone and through AT&T's webmail program and there is no trace of the email. Any ideas on what could be happening?

That is very weird. I don't see anything in settings that could be causing this problem like an auto delete or anything which is what it sounds like. I guess i would either try to resync you email or call customer support i know its a drag but that's all i can think of.
