Finally. Today I worked on the road and was not glued to the computer all day. Then magically at about 1:45 in the afternoon I got an email from A T & T Premiere that order had shipped. It's coming from Texas with a delivery date of tomorrow (Thursday).

Finally got an email saying they have shipped via UPS next day air, along with tracking numbers and updated on my AT&T status page. So far so good.

BAM!! iPhone 4 shipped out via UPS for 6/24/10 delivery. Just got the email a few moments ago with my tracking number. Waiting is over (until tomorrow). Everyone who is still waiting for theirs to ship, hang on there, don't loose hope it will ship.

FedEx lied to me multiple times. They told me three different things yesterday. My phone was first scheduled to be delivered 6/23 and then all of the FedEx tracking issues surfaced. So, I called them...

1st story - There was a problem with their system (FedEx) and it'll be delayed a day.

2nd story - The driver tried to deliver the package but nobody was home to sign for the package. BTW, I was home at the time they said they tried to deliver! But they said I could go to their facility and pick it up.

3rd Story - While on the way, because it's a 40 minute drive, I decided to call again just to see what their story would be this time. Glad I did, because they said it's still at the origination location and I could not pick it up. I raised h*ll and they apologized and said it'll for sure be here on 6/24.

So, basically they're just making up anything to get you off the phone. I lost a lot of respect for FedEx yesterday. I will never use them again when I have a shipping choice. Not because they are having problems, but because they lied to me repeatedly.

AT&T and Apple obviously have had their problems through this whole debacle, but at least they didn't lie to me. When they didn't know something, they said they didn't know. FedEx intentionally lied.

That's pretty brutal Jamoke. I wouldn't sit quietly about this. Get your phone and then raise hell. That's BS.

Mine is out for delivery by FedEx! Does anyone know if the leasing office in my building will be able to sign for it - I am at work? I hope so, don't want it going back and having to get redelivered tomorrow...

On truck for delivery, finally! I was not one of the fortunate early deliveries. A coworker got hers and yesterday and she ordered around 1-2PM CST on the 15th. I ordered at 5AM CST on the 15th.

Anyways, I'm just a few hours (hopefully minutes) away. Anyone know if the Bumper cases are in AT&T stores?

I was wondering that about the bumpers too. I ordered one from Apple but it won't ship until 6/30 or something. I called the Apple store and they do have the black ones in but I am sure it is crazy there so an ATT store would be a lot easier.

Just talked to my friend, who happens to be a local ups driver in my area and he said that his supervisor told him to leave the iPhone in a safe place at the delivery address and continue on w/o signature. Not sure if this is just in my area or in many regions.
