Trouble launching apps

I don't know what is going on but all of a sudden when I try to launch an application it briefly shows the app but abpruptly stops and goes back to the icons. It doesn't do it for my SMS icons butit does it for all my other apps. I tried holding down the power and home button simultaneously to rest but to no avail!! Can ya help me????

Open the app store and download a free app. Try launching it and then try launching one of your other apps. This should help.

So when you did the reset, the reset didn't work? or it didn't solve the problem? have you tried a sync since the apps started crashing?

I just had something similar happen, but only to one app...NYTimes. So I went to settings then under new York times ther was a reset button. That worked for me. Just sayin.

Yes I've had the same problem, I think some of the new apps haven't been tested that well?
