Sync Selected Contacts in Exchange

I have hundreds of Contacts in exchange and I would like to only have a subset sync with the iPhone. Is there a way to do this?

This might work, but I have no idea.

You'll need to create a sub folder within Contacts. Move all of your contacts into this new sub folder. Then copy or move the contacts you want to sync within the main Contacts folder.

I have no idea if this works, but I did something like this to segregate my calendar into multiple calendars.
