Removing a song

My son downloaded a song from iTunes that, let's just say, is inappropriate for young ears. How do I delete it from my iPad?

How do I do this? I am new to iOS and really don't understand how all of this works. I have to do through a PC somehow don't I?

I'm not dumb when it comes to technology, just not real familiar with iOS.

All your media management is done through your pc. You make the decision there and then sync them to your iPad or iPhone. If you change your mind...rinse and repeat - go back to your desktop.
