Can we jailbreak 7.1.1?

Apparently one of the jailbrekers announced that if they can come up with a way to JB 7.1.1 or 7.1 within a month or so, they will release something that will work. If not then they'll wait till 8.0 but that they are definitely trying to get something done soon.

That's definitely good to hear. Definitely hope an 8.0 JB will not be too far off from when Apple officially makes 8.0 available to the public. I am currently JB on 7.0.4 and really want to upgrade to 7.1.1 since alot of people seem to have reported very good battery life, so a JB on 7.1.1 and 8.0 would be a win/win

Found this site claiming to have 1.0.8 which can jailbreak 7.1.1. When I go to evasi0n.com it has it crossed out. Im guessing it's not safe to use this.

Downgrade iOS 7.1.1 to iOS 6.1.3, iOS 5.1.1, iOS 4.3.3

There's a video at the bottom and it says you do NOT need SHSH blobs to downgrade and it bypasses apple. Is this real?

He doesn't show the entire process. You also need an iOS 6.1.3 ipsw file to downgrade. Its fake.

I assumed so (it's fake) because like you said...he didn't show the entire process which makes no sense. Thanks for confirming.

When I got my 5S, it was already on 7.1 and so I can't jailbreak it.:crying:

I have also used Pangu on 7.1.2. It works great and a lot of the Apple updates seam to be helping battery life and animation speeds.
