I am seeing a lot of buzz and comments across the internets that Apple has bumped the limit for cellular downloads from 50MB to 100MB. Not sure when it takes effect, but I?m sure the carriers will have a voice in that...
While I do understand why a download limit is in place, what I do not understand is the contradiction that also remains. Apple will not let me download a 101MB podcast over cellular data. Yet, I have the option to stream the exact same podcast over cell data.
Is this maybe to also assist in sharing/downloading home movies? I know that iPhone 5S really is trying to play up and take advantage of the fact of slow motion video and great video editing with iMovie (isn't it free now?).
