Photos half downloaded, still says "downloading" on devices days later

Hello all,
Has anyone seen this issue before? Somehow I managed to mess up syncing my new 4S with data from my previous 3GS. My apps and settings all came over normally, however the photos I had on my prior phone are 'stuck' in the middle of downloading.... and it has looked like this for a few days now. Any ideas on how to get the rest of these to download?

This happened to me on both the 3GS and 4S. You just have to wait it out and it will complete the download. Mine took about two to three days to complete. You can try a wired sync with iTunes to see if that helps. Uncheck the photos synch, then recheck it and sync again to see if it helps.

If you are doing iCloud I think it's just downloading all those pics to the cloud and taking its sweet time.
