Re-install 4.3.1?

Ive been on 4.3.1 jailbroken for some time now. My phone is acting flaky and has started to tether on it's own when connected to a PC, so I am relegated to AC charging. Its time to format and fresh install. I need a jailbreak, can I re-install 4.3.1 by downloading the ipsw file and loading through itunes? Or can I get a newer version and use jailbreakme.com? I don't want to screw up cuz I know I will prolly only get one shot. Thanks!

U need to extract your shsh blobs first because if update it will go straight to 4.3.5 and there is not a stable JB yet for that

Two options: if you have them saved by Cydia (by using the "make my life easier" option when you first load Cydia) you can use Tiny Umbrella to access your SHSH.

If you didn't use Cydia, your only option is to try iFaith. Try TU first and it will tell you what SHSH Cydia has saved for you, if any.
