Already jailbroken iPhone - but how do I ???

Hi guys,

I have had my 3G jailbroken on 3.0 for about 6 months no problems, however recently for whatever reason my whole music/ringtones/iTunes is corrupt and I can no longer sync it with iTunes on any PC or MAC

I want to reset the phone back to original and re-jailbreak it, but how would I go about doing it? Shall i just re-run redsn0w and select 3.0 firmware and will that wipe it all or do i need to do something prior?

I cannot get in to iTunes to do any kind of restore/factory reset

Are you running the most current iTunes?
