Iphone 2G with 3.1... HELP!

Okay so I have a iphone 2G with 3.1 JB....
And I love everthing bout it but the fact that i can't get MMS on it... is it possible to get MMS on my iphone and if so what are the ways that i should go about getting MMS on my 2G with 3.1...'

Ok... one more question...

If i go frm 3.1 back to 3.0 can i activate the MMS via activatemms2g on cydia?! Is that a possibility?!

Do i try those steps with 3.1 or do i go back to 3.0?
