Previous iterations of iOS allowed us easily to delete individual messages from an iMessage/SMS conversation in case something is said that prying eyes shouldn't see or you just want to clean up some clutter in the conversation.
It may appear that iOS 7 is without this feature, but it just takes a little digging.
To start, just go to any open conversation
Next, tap and hold on the bubble you want to remove and select "More"
To add any others to be deleted, tap the circle to the left of the message, then tap the trash can in the lower left corner.
That's it.
