Bluetooth question

I am running beta 6, and used bluetooth on it for the first time today. I paired with a Motorola Elite Sliver, and it works great. But, I have noticed the "spinner" goes the whole time, even after pairing. Is this normal?

Going to that settings screen activates 'discoverable' mode... so you don't have to.
