Camera problem and iCloud problem

Hello all, since i've updated to iOS5, i have two problem that I know of so far:

1. There is no camera icon on the lock screen.

2. I have yet to backup through iCloud. Each time i get an error message. Either 1. "iCloud Backup Failed There was a problem enabling iCloud Backup. or 2. There was a problem completing the backup. Please try again later.

I turned backup off and then back on and now i'm back to error message 1...i can't even turn it on.

Any solutions to either problem?

For #1, are you double tapping the home button? 1 tap won't do it.

Thanks. I should've known that...anyone else having the same iCloud problems? I just updated iPad and it does the same thing...can't even turn the option on...
