News publishers are now jumping into the antitrust fight against Apple

A trade group representing a number of high profile new publishers has drafted a letter pressuring Apple to change its App Store policies.

I would be quite happy for Apple to drop all News output, there are plenty of ways to gather news for no cost. Apple does not need the doubtful benefits of an argumentative and disruptive news sector, particularly as Apple’s native country has a news structure that would not recognise the truth if it bit it in the bum !

I agree with you completely. Specifically, I dislike the concept of "curated" news "just for me"!

I can find my own "News" to read!
