Entry Level iMac 2014

Will a 1.4ghz dual core i5 iMac be sufficient and smooth for e-mailing, browsing, torrents, hd movies, iPhoto, printing and Windows 8 without any hicccups? I will be happy with a normal HDD and 8gb RAM. Also, I cannot go for the late 2013 iMac as that will shoot up my budget considerably on purchasing Windows 8 and I plan to use genuine software. Thank You.

You should be okay; however, if you plan on running VMs, you might want to see if you can afford 16GB of RAM.

I ended up getting a 2.7ghz quad core i5 iMac. Loving it!
