Welcome to iMore! What do you mean by it, "makes you tap twice on your screen"? How does it make you do it? I've never heard of this. What's your desktop got to do with it? Register in and we'll figure it out. In the mean time, try a hard reset.
Hold the top or side power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.
