You can go into settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>then if you already have your hotmail set up, just scroll down to default account (under signature) and pick hotmail. If you hotmail is not yet set up you would then go to add account to add your hotmail and then do the step of choosing your default account. Hope this helps.
