how do I look at stored files

I've lost a file and I'm trying to view it in icloud but I don't know how to access what is stored. I only see the settings for icloud but not what is actually stored. How do I get there?

Welcome to iMore! You don't see things backed up in iCloud on the phone. You might see things if you go to iCloud.com on your computer. If you want to view photos, documents and etc, I would upload them to apps like Box, Dropbox and OneDrive. Then delete from the camera roll.
