Right now I have a work-issued Verizon Samsung GS4. It has my work line, but I also have a personal number through Google Voice. On there I can receive calls/texts through the hangouts app.
I've been given the go ahead to get an iPhone and transfer the service over to it. I realize that I can't make hangouts the default messaging/SMS app in iOS, but does it still have all the features as the Android version?
I would expect it to:
- Be able to make outgoing calls on Google Voice line using data
- Incoming calls on Google Voice use minutes via carrier line
- SMS/MMS work through hangouts using data
Does anyone have experience with that on iOS?
