Password incorrect for updates, what should I do?

"Password incorrect for updates"

My password works on App Store but won't work for Updates. I want version 9.0.1 I am currently on 7.1.1

.....and what device are you attempting to update? If you're using an iPhone 4 or earlier, you will not be able to upgrade to iOS 9. Period.
