My photos have rearranged themselves in iPhoto, why?

My photos have rearranged themselves in iPhoto

and many are not in Photos, either. What's happened? Cannot see everything in "photos" on iphoto, even things I loaded today.
I just enabled the cloud.
But why why WHY??? are my photos so discombobulated?

Help?

Make sure you have iCloud Photo Library enabled on you iPhone. Also, here is some good reading:
