Unfortunately, I have the 700 minutes plan grandfathered at $60 per month, not the current plan at $69.99. So for me to get this, my bill would go up. :(

Funny this my new billing cycle happened at midnight but my 300+ rollover minutes did not. I downgraded to the 450 minute plan does that plan not come with roll over ?

the 450 comes with rollover.

edit: 450 mins that rollover, unl mobile 2 mobile (att 2 att) and 5,000 nights & weekend.

I lost the 8,000 rollover minutes I had when I changed down. But I got 450 and will start over. I'll never use them anyway.

I have 5 lines on the 700 Family Plan. With the unlimited mobile to any mobile, we didn't even use 600 minutes last month since many people use cell phones these days . It's a great option from AT&T.

You mean beyond saving $15-20/month and making as many phone calls as before? I think that's pretty great.

I have a family plan, and thus would need to switch to the Family 700 plan, to get this deal. A shame really...

I have the 700 plan also, but this won't offer much of a savings for me either because we don't text that much. So the 550 family plan is $60 vs $70 for the 700 minutes plan. Add $20 - $30 for the unlimited text and you can see it's not much of a deal if you don't text a lot.

i had 6200 rollover (coming from the 1400 minute plan) and the rep, just out of the blue, says "ok, we can bring 5000 of your rollover minutes over to the new plan" i was amazed this was being offered!

then here comes my Winning moment.. instead of just bringing over 5000 she accidentally added 5000 to my original amount.. so yes, i now have 11200 rollover minutes on a 700 minute plan :D :D

they back dated the new plan and all changes have occurred. i guess i'll see if the 11200 stays after my first cycle

I'm little confused here. So if I add this feature to my family plan. I have phone that has an 510 area code, i can call 510 area code numbers without using my minute?

It has nothing to do with your area code. If you add the feature you can call any cell phone without using your anytime minutes.

Anyone can ask for this, it called "no capping". No one knows about it, but it can be done. Ask to not have your rollover minutes capped and they'll do it most of the time, if not polietly hang up and call back.

i also have heard about it but was more amazed that 1) i didn't have to ask, they offered it from the beginning of the conversation and 2) they added the 5000 to my existing (by accident??)

i completely agree with the theory, when talking to any CSR, if the conversation is not going where you like.. sometimes all it takes is just hanging up and calling back. worked liked a charm for me when i had Sprint

I dropped my plan from 1400 mins to 700 because of this and has worked out great. Haven't used much anytime minutes and saved money. Win
