Good day,

I'm running a corporate account with a lot of phones.

I asked Telus to unlock one device, which is an iphone SE

They came back to me, and tell me that it's done.. BUT, that I need to backup/restore the iphone..

When I look on the apple site (https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT201328), there is the option to insert another carrier sim ..

So doing that one will prevent me to have to backup/wipe/restore the phone?

Thanks

Un less I'm misunderstanding something here, if the device has been unlocked, all you have to do is insert an activated SIM card from a compatible carrier and go about your business. Inserting a SIM does not cause a device to be erased.
