why wont my iphone charge after having drained the battery

i left my phone 5s on approximately 50% lastnight and when i woke up this morning , the battery was drained and it didnt want to charge . tried charging it with multiple chargers but still nothing tried holding the sleep?wake buttn together with the home button but nothing. not even the charging icon . please help!!!!!!

Connect your iPhone with the lightning cable to your computer with iTunes running.

Welcome to iMore! Try leaving it on the charger for over an hour. It's possible the battery is too worn out. If it doesn't show signs of charging after an hour and a half, it may need replacing.
