how do i get location of pictures to show on my phone

I uploaded my photos from my iPhone 6 to my Mac and all the picture locations were deleted from my phone. Some show nothing, some show country -- but it used to say --"Lima, Peru" and now says either nothing or Peru. Any idea how I get all the pictures to say full location? Thanks.

In the Photos app, select "Albums" and then select "Places".
