My iPhone 5c won't restore or update

I just changed my iPhone 5c's screen and it shows the screen when you turn it on but it will tell you to plug in to the computer and restore the iPhone. I tried to do it but it marks error 4013 and keeps no matter how many times I try it still marks it. I tried uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling and I followed the 4013 error fix on the apple website but it won't work. I called in and I was told it may be a computer-phone communication error but the computer recognizes the device and tells me the serial number. I was thinking it may be the lack of space on the device but now I'm worried it may be I damaged something while changing the screen. Any suggestions on what to do?
