My Iphone 7 keeps asking for log in (password) for an apple-ID I do not know

Instead of dismissing the notification, you can create a Apple ID for free and logging into that account. That way, the notification will never pop up again Hope this helps!

Have you set up your iPhone 7 with your own Apple ID? Go to iCloud and iTunes & App Stores respectively, sign out from the Apple ID you don't know and log in with your own account.
Another possibility is that you have some app(s) purchased and downloaded with other's Apple account. Try to delete those apps.
