Why did all my notes disappear!??

I was going to add a new note and before I knew it, THEY WERE ALL GONE. I had SO much important stuff on there like passwords, things to do, reminders, etc. I tried going to "Mail" then to "notes" but all the notes are from my old iPhone 4s, not my IPhone 6s. please, please help me. I really need these back.

Welcome to iMore. Sorry you're having issues with notes. Did you have iCloud enabled for notes? Recently change accounts, or log out of iCloud? Do you have a recent backup, or another device that they might be on to help you recover them?

Check for your notes in your email accounts Notes folder. Here's info.
