    I am an author who does library research on primary documents. I have taken thousands of photos of documents and spent thousands of hours labeling the photos and filing them in catagories and in the right order in I-photo so I can use them easily. Now suddenly after upgrade to Yosemite all I have is the photos themselves. No filing categories, no order to photos in my Photo or whatever this new rainbow thing is called -- believe the information might still be there somewhere, but it's not visible to me. Can anyone help me restore my old organization pattern and labels. Or at least the labels so they are searchable?

    Many have complained about this. I have yet to see a solution. Maybe someone else knows more. In the mean time you can send Apple feedback on this. The more feedback they get, the more likely it gets fixed.
