Why is family sharing telling me I cannot send an invitation to my own account?

I am trying to set up family sharing so my husband can watch movies I have purchased, but it's not letting me. I do not have his email linked to my account at all even as a recovery email. And he has his own iTunes account which is the email I am trying to send the invite to. Therefore, How can I be sending an invite to myself? Please help!! Cheers

Is your email on your husband's AppleID as a recovery address?
