How do I remove contacts when double clicking on home button?

how to remove contacts when double clicking on home button....like recents texts or calls

when you double click oh Iphone home button....all across top you see who texted or messaged or called (at least the last 8) any way to remove them

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Show in App Switcher > Off
