Why won't my iPad accept my iCloud password to turn off find my ipad in order to reset it?

Ipad won't accept Icloud password to turn off "find my ipad" in order to reset it

all of a sudden, i can only receive email but nothing else. I am trying to reset my ipad, but it says I have to go into icloud settings and turn off "find my ipad" i do but it won't accept my password.

Try restarting the iPhone. I had to do this when I couldn't disable the feature as well.

If it's your device, use the link (https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid) to reset the login.
