Should I send my damaged iPhone back for further repair?

Damaged iphone

I sent my iphone 5s off for repair (mail in service), when i received my phone back i had a scratch on the screen very noticeable . I am a 100 % this was not here before i sent it off .

Has this happened to anyone else before ?

Any advice on what to do ?

I’ve never experienced this, but we all know that stuff does happen. My first call would be to the repair service. Was it an Apple location? An "authorized" repair facility? Something else?
