How do I get rid of the Recent calls that pop up on my home screen on iPhone 5c?

I want to get rid of the Recent calls that pop up on my home screen on Iphone 5C

When I press the home button twice it shrinks the home page and shows what apps are open. It also shows my recent calls in little circles. I want to remove that.

When I press the home button twice it shrinks the home page and shows what apps are open. It also shows my recent calls in little circles. I want to remove that.

1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
2. Scroll down to the Contacts section
3. Show in App Switcher > Phone Favorites > [OFF]
4. Show in App Switcher > Recents > [OFF]
